Sonia Villiers 1 2018 WorkshopOverview: Release your creative genius and experiment with collage and colour, sunlight and shadows. In this workshop we will explore a different look at a Cambridge street scene, or Cambridge rivers, punting and colleges. Learn how to make vibrant marbled paper, and to combine it with sections of Cambridge maps and paint to create a truly original and recognisable work of art! Try different collage techniques and explore shape and tone to create form, depth and atmosphere.

Demonstrations will be interspersed with individual help and advice.

Materials to bring - A3 stretched paper or acrylic paper, scissors, acrylics, acrylic inks or watercolours, PVA, brushes, waterpot. Sonia will bring the marbling kit, along with spares of everything to borrow or buy, you can use her paints for no charge.

There will be photographs for you to work from, but please bring your own if you have a favourite scene.Sonia Villiers 2 2018 Workshop

Workshop cost: £30 for Members and Friends, £40 for Non-members. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring a packed lunch.
