Janet Edwards
After using watercolours for twenty-five years, I have expanded. Now exploring the stronger colours of gouache and acrylic. As with watercolours, you only get one chance—there is no undo button. The gouache and acrylic give intense bold colour while watercolour is for grace and elegance. The subjects remain the same—shapes, patterns, colour. My pen takes off by itself, the finished drawings having lives of their own, becoming fantasies or motifs, the colours sublime.
Having a litte time with watercolours again at the moment.
