Visual Artist
Oil, Solarplate, Woodcut
59 Highworth Ave, Cambridge

The creative process intrigues me. This could be either personally working towards an oil painting or a solarplate etching or working with groups of people creating a stimulating environment using art.

The focus of my landscape oil painting is on portraying tranquility and silence. I rarely interrupt the landscape with people or buildings. My solarplate etchings are often a contrast to this - urban snippets of people lost in a second of their day. In both my chosen mediums I strive for individuality and uniqueness.

I originally trained in Furnishing Textiles, later further studies in Fine Art at the Cambridge School of Art before relocating to the USA.  I completed the Certificate in Advanced Printmaking at the Curwen Print Study Centre and in 2018 sees the completion of an MA in Fine Art Printmaking from Cambridge School of Art. I have been working as a professional Painter and Printmaker since 2007.

I am represented by Cambridge Contemporary Art.

I am also one of the three founders of Cambridge Original Printmakers Biennale.

Corporate and private clients regularly commission me. Several oil paintings can be found within Addenbrooke's Hospital. Private works are owned throughout the USA, Canada, Australia, Southern India, Mexico, the Middle East, France and the UK.
