I am a practicing artist originally from Newmarket, now living just outside Cambridge and I’ve been producing art for most of my life. My work is constantly evolving and because of this I have been able to experiment with a variety of media, exploring many different ideas. However in recent years I have developed a very intricate drawing style using pen, pencil and acrylic on mount board. The subject matter can vary from wildlife to figurative to more improvised illustrations derived from imagination.
As a child I was very enthusiastic about drawing and painting, and throughout school art was the subject that I felt by far the most passionate about. I took GCSE and A Level Art and Design at Newmarket Upper School then progressed onto Cambridge Regional College to study for an Art Foundation Diploma (focusing in fine art). After completing this I felt strongly about furthering my studies in art and gained a place at The University of Hull to continue my focus and development of fine art painting. In 2005 I graduated with a B.A. Honours Degree.
