My work is mostly about observation and my interpretation of what I see through drawing and painting. I work in pencil, charcoal, watercolour and acrylic .
My joy is as much in the looking as in doing my art and I work from life and the landscape.
I have joined various art groups over the years, mostly focussed on drawing. It is only in the last couple of years, since I retired, that I have had the time to explore colour and light and drawing more experimentally.
