Karen Stamper wins 2020 Broadway Arts Festival Open Art Competition

Cambridge Drawing Society member Karen Stamper wins the top award at the 2020 Broadway Arts Festival Open Art Competition.

 

Congratulations to CDS member Karen Stamper for winning The Richard Hagen Gallery prize for her work Down At The Allotments II. This is the top prize awarded in the competition.

The competition was open to any artist in the country, in any medium including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, printmaking, film, textiles, ceramics, digital art, installation and designer makers.

Karen Stamper Award (1)In total there were over 700 entries from across the UK and Europe.

Judges for the Competition were Stewart Geddes (past President of the RWA) and reknown artist Ann Blockley, RI, SWA.

All 200 finalist works are available to view and purchase, as part of an on-line selling exhibition which will run until the end of this year. www.broadwayartsfestival.com
