**STOP PRESS**

We are delighted to announce that there will be a special private view for CDS Members & Friends of Emily Jolley’s exhibition ‘Scintilla’ at the Keate Family Arts Trust. This will take place at 11am-1pm on Saturday 5th October at 7 Trafalgar Road Cambridge (nearest car park Grafton Centre West).

Emily will give a short talk introducing the exhibition which includes a selection of her own work alongside pieces selected from the Trust’s collection (including pieces by Barbara Hepworth, Georges Braque, and John Piper).  Afterwards there will be an opportunity for some sketching if you wish (please use only dry mediums that aren’t messy like pen or pencil).

If you wish to attend, it would be helpful (though by no means essential) if you could contact the President Susan Abbs (by Whatsapp or e-mail) in advance. Please note that this event is only open to CDS Members & Friends.

Local artist & CDS friend Emily Jolley is exhibiting her own work alongside pieces she has selected from the Keate Family Arts Trust collection. The show features artworks by 14 artists ranging from artworld heros such as Barbara Hepworth, Georges Braque, and John Piper, to other local artists such as ceramicist Stephen Murfitt.

The Keate Family Arts Trust is a domestic space dedicated to the preservation and display of their collection of mid to late Twentieth Century prints, ceramics, textiles and private press books, the works of the founder David Keate and more recent acquisitions. Think a pint-sized kettles yard and you won’t be far wrong!

Opening times:

5 – 30 September by appointment.

Venue:

7 Trafalgar Road, Cambridge
