We are delighted to announce that the Cambridge Drawing Society will again exhibit at the Pitt Building in Spring 2025. It is an exciting opportunity for emerging and professional artists to display their work in one of Cambridge’s most beautiful and centrally located venues.

We invite new candidates to submit their work for consideration and be part of this well-loved event.

Submissions Open: Monday, 6th January 2025

Submissions Close: Friday, 28th March 2025

What We’re Looking For

The CDS is seeking high-quality original works from artists working across various mediums, including painting: all mediums; pastels; drawing; mixed media; sculpture: all media; ceramics: non-utilitarian only; fine art printing, includes etched solar plates (excludes giclée and large-volume prints).

Unfortunately, photography and digital art cannot be accepted.

We recommend all new candidates carefully review the New Candidate Guidelines before submitting their work.

Collection of Unsold Work Pitt Building: Saturday, 3rd May 2025

5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Cottenham: Tuesday, 6th May 2025

1:00 pm – 4:30 pm

 

Additional Notes

    1. Works must be exhibition-ready when submitted in person.
    2. The CDS reserves the right to exclude works that:
      1. Are poorly framed or fail to meet framing and glazing guidelines.
      2. Differ significantly from the submitted image.
      3. Have been altered since submission.
