Magma Rising – at the Heong Gallery
CDS member Donna McLuskie is one of the artists exhibiting in an intriguing exhibition now on at the Heong Gallery. She has one of her pareidolia drawings included in the exhibition, Magma Rising.
The exhibition at the Heong Gallery, Downing College, Cambridge runs through 22 April (free admission). This is an expertly curated visual and auditory journey through aspects of Icelandic volcanoes. On show is a great variety of works on this theme from artists, including an Icelandic mouth painter, scientists, musicians, designers of furniture and wearable items, artifacts and instruments, film producers and also a wall display of Icelandic rocks.
